"I have been a long-time State Farm policyholder and have trusted your company to provide fair and reliable coverage. Over the years, I have insured multiple vehicles, including sports cars, and have consistently maintained an excellent driving record with no accidents or traffic violations. Recently, I was involved in an incident while driving near the I-5 and SR-14 during one of California’s worst storms. Another vehicle stalled ahead of me on the freeway, forcing me to take evasive action. At the same time, my Ford truck encountered a flash flood on the roadway, which caused my vehicle to lose traction, spin out of control, and collide with the center divider. When I explained the circumstances to my adjuster, the accident was unfortunately classified as “at fault.” This decision has led to the removal of my “good driver” discount and a significant increase in my premium. I respectfully disagree with this determination, as the primary cause of the incident was hazardous weather and unavoidable road conditions beyond my control. I kindly request a full reconsideration of this decision and a review of my long history as a safe and responsible driver. I have great respect for State Farm’s commitment to its customers and hope that my situation will be reassessed fairly at the current level."
